The Orca Softshell is a windproof softshell jacket designed for sailing, made from a lightweight GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER® polyester fabric with four-way stretch. The jacket is fully taped at all seams and features a DWR treatment with water-repellent properties, which, combined with the waterproof GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER® membrane, makes the jacket highly resistant to water. For increased durability, the jacket is equipped with reinforcement fabric in VECTRAN TECHSTEEL® on the side panels, underarms, and upper back. The high collar is lined with neoprene on the inside for warmth and comfort.

The jacket closes with a water-resistant YKK AquaGuard® zipper at the front with a welded inner button placket to prevent wind and water ingress. The cuffs are made of a three-layer waterproof, laminated fabric with super-stretch for a tailored fit that prevents wind and water intrusion. Equipped with a spacious chest pocket with a water-resistant YKK AquaGuard® zipper and a loop on the inside for easy attachment of racing tools. Reflective Sail Racing prints on the sleeves for increased visibility in darkness and a HYPALON® hanging loop for easy hanging. Designed with a Sail Racing and WINDSTOPPER® logo on the chest pocket, a 50KTS logo on the left sleeve, and a block logo at the back yoke.
